    St. Petersburg/Madeira Beach KOA
Salt-air breezes cool this Gulf Coast KOA set in a waterfront paradise: a mangrove-lined bayou only two miles from the sugar-white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. And this paradise delivers lots of amenities, including a fishing dock, three hot tubs, an outsize pool and large, oak-shaded sites. Play any of eight championship shuffleboard courts or try a bocce ball toss. Bike under swaying palm trees along the water's edge at the campground or continue on the popular 47-mile fitness trail outside the gates. Paddle the peaceful bayou, alive with dolphins, herons, egrets and flamingos. Directions From I-275, Exit 38th Avenue north (Exit 25). Go west 5.5 miles, veer right onto Tyrone Blvd (Bay Pines). Move to center lane and go 1.5 miles to 95th St north (2nd traffic light). Turn right, go 0.5 miles.
